Welcome to Beaconsfield Barn

{AC}

Situated on top of Richmond Hill over looking Douglas with spectacular views across the Irish Sea of the English & Welsh coasts.

Our self-catering accommodation, traditionally built of local stone and known to be over 125 years old, has been sympathetically converted to a high standard.

There is ample room for parking and for those without transport the barn is situated on the main bus route with bus stops in either direction within a short walking distance.

A five minute walk down Richmond Hill brings you to the "Home of Rest for Old Horses" which has provided happy retirement for horses & donkeys for over half a century.

In the opposite direction "The Forge" is only a stroll away with good food and a relaxed atmosphere for lunch or an evening meal.

Children very welcome, linen and towels are provide (please bring your own beach towel) but sorry no pets and it is a no smoking property. {/AC}

    We stayed in The Barn Richmond Hill over the Christmas period and could not fault the efforts Brian and Gilly went to make us welcome. The Barn was very cosy and had a Christmas Tree and decorations. We had a stove in the sitting room and Brian so kindly chopped logs for us to burn. That was our second time to stay there last year. We stayed with our daughter and grandchildren in May, and we are going back in July 2013. Looking forward to going back. The house is spotless with plenty of towels, bed linen, hairdryer, iron board etc. I would certainly recommend this house to couples who want some quiet time away or families with young children. Brian and Gilly were always on hand if we needed anything.

    Beaconsfield Barn is one of the most lovely properties we have ever stayed in; beautifully restored and furnished. The barn is spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Gilly & Brian are excellent hosts and attentive to their Guests needs. We loved the barn so much we have booked our next holiday before we left.
